I am back in Monterey this week for some work meetings, and although it’s been really busy, I’ve been trying to fit in some of my favorite things – including seeing friends, a favorite sushi place, and tomorrow my favorite Mexican place.

I am staying at the Embassy Suites near the office, and I scored a room with an amazing view!

Some friends of ours recently had a baby. I was so excited to meet baby Ellie, and really wanted a picture of us together. But, I got this comical strip instead.

Well, I’ve got a couple of things I’ve got to take care of tonight for work – and then back to the office in the morning. I am headed back to D.C. on Saturday morning – but really have enjoyed being here this week – a nice change of environment!
