Mansef Party!

My friend Bryan – who I served in the Peace Corps with – decided to have a Jordanian style birthday party, complete with mansef. Mansef is a traditional Jordanian dish made up of chicken or lamb, rice, and a hot salty yogurt sauce. It is an acquired taste for sure. Also, it is traditionally eaten with your hands. While using a spoon is usually accepted, Erin is a champ and dug right in!

should we really be surprised that Erin doesn't mind digging in with her hands?

It was so much fun to hang out with Peace Corps friends, and trick Erin into eating Jordanian food!
