The Winter that Will Not End

Welcome to The Winter that Will Not End.

At least that what it feels like. We even got another dusting of snow last night. A fresh coating on the still remaining 8 or so inches. While we don’t get nearly as much as New York, or other Northeast states, it feels like a lot for these West Coasters.

Last weekend we decided we’d had enough winter and escaped for the afternoon to the Botanical Gardens in search of warmer weather 🙂 Like a mini-tropical vacation!

Then it was back to our snowy reality…

The weatherman promised that we’re entering a warming trend. Fingers crossed he’s not lying!

Not much else to report – things have been pretty life as usual around here. Work, snow, snow, work, friends, snow, work… 🙂 This upcoming weekend we are planning a quick road trip to Maine provided that it really does warm up, and the roads are OK.

Hope everyone’s short week is off to a great start – already one day closer to the weekend!
